The Omen 666 Review (No Spoilers)
I was one of the priveleged to watch the remake of THE OMEN 666 last night @ KLCC. My obiter dictum? Well, it’s 80% like-minded to the original and there were a number of suspenseful scenes that made this movie a worthwhile watch – not for the fainthearted. The casting was terrifically anointed. The son of the devil’s antics would in all likelihood make women think twice about having tiddlers. Although I mistily recognized most of the storyline, I was still shocked out of my skin during a couple of sequences, especially one scene, which I won’t give away. I hope they release OMEN 2 and OMEN 3 within the same year in 2007. 777 perhaps? Pity they didn’t use the original soundtrack else I would’ve given it a higher rating. Good luck in EXPECTing the UNEXPECTED – 6.5/10.

What’s with couples getting married on triple dates like 555 (5th May 2005), 666 (6th June 2006), 777 (7th July 2007)? They’re taking this superstitious crapology way too seriously. In hindsight, it’s the most beneficial way to get hitched for the guys. Why? Well, they get to spare lots of dinero to feed their lusting on World Cup gambling. Nice.
I’m certain that on 8th August 2008 (888), we get to behold 888,888 Malaysians getting married. Will you be one of the tightwad dudes who bank on cockamamie dates to save big bucks? We’ll find out soon enough, won’t we? Hahaha!
