Miss Universe 2009 Preview – Potential Winners List
Of course, this is purely based on looks and what I have found on the official website. But I have been right before, so Miss Universe, is ultimately about looks. Brains are optional. Ready lads, here we go.

Belgium - Zeynep Sever (Miss Universe 2009)
Belgium’s Zeynep Sever looking quite exotic and though I’m not a fan of her midriff, a little too flimsy for my liking.

Canada - Mariana Valente (Miss Universe 2009)
Maria Valente of Canada looks really hot but she has a really dodgy-looking body. Those arms are simply made for mutton soup (sup kambing for better effect).

Costa Rica - Jessica Umana (Miss Universe 2009)
Jessica Umana is quite cute and curvy, a natural looking beauty who doesn’t need to vomit to keep up with the superstickmodels of this world. She has a great smile hasn’t she?

Ecuador - Sandra Vinces (Miss Universe 2009)
Apart from needing a little bit of tan, she doesn’t have anything really troubling about her, and yet, nothing really stands out from this photo compared to the curvier Costa Rica but still meatier than the first 2 above. She should be able to finish in the top 20.

Great Britain - Clair Cooper (Miss Universe 2009)
I believe redhead beauties are a dying breed, and she’s the only one in the current Miss Universe with any chance of pushing top 3. Her eyes are pretty enchanting, and I doubt it’s contact lens because I’m sure it’s against the competition rules. She looks quirky with a very outside chance of winning it.

Guam - Racine Manley (Miss Universe 2009)
She too has an exotic look, but more towards us Asians. I like her captivating smile and thankful she’s not thin as an Anchovy. Guam has never made major impact in the competition, but I think with Racine, there’s a good chance they just might be a surprise package.

Guatemala - Lourdes Figueroa (Miss Universe 2009)
Apart from her face, which looked to have relied on makeup, everything else falls a little flat. LOL. She seems to have a good tan but it looks like a photoshopped one as her hands seem to be in a different color. I’m not sure about her.

Hungary - Suzan Budai (Miss Universe 2009)
OK, the more I look at this photo, the more I think she should’ve struck a different post, as this doesn’t look natural at all. I looked at her other photos and just had to write about her because she is kinda cute in her own way.

Indonesia - Zivanna Letisha Siregar (Miss Universe 2009)
She is the second highest voted Asian on the Miss Universe website. I know there are possibly a million other beauties in Indonesia who might look hotter, but with the current crop of contestants, I can see why Zivanna is a favorite from Asia. I think Westerners are taken by her innocent-like smile.

Ireland - Diana Donnelly (Miss Universe 2009)
Her wet hair look doesn’t really do justice to her natural beauty, especially her smile. I looked at her evening wear and she looked stunning. The only thing that could possibly go wrong for her is her dodgy yet unique accent.

Japan - Emiri Miyasaka (Miss Universe 2009)
While she is nowhere near the quality and hotness of a previous Japan contestant, Kurara Chibana, whom I blogged about with so much passion, rooting for her to lift the title, Emiri holds her own for sure, and it looks like she’s definitely not a stereotypical Japanese. She should do OK.

Malaysia - Joannabelle Ng (Miss Universe 2009)
In a typical spirit of Malaysia Tak Boleh, guess which contestant has the most lowest rating in the Miss Universe website? Tadaa, I give you, a not-so-nice looking Miss Malaysia, though I have to admit, she looks better compared to the previous roadkills, but her out of shape body won’t get her anywhere. Definitely a loser.

Mexico - Karla Carrillo (Miss Universe 2009)
Nice. She has a pleasant smile, a pleasantly toned yet natural body, one of the favorites if her communication doesn’t let her down. She looks like a playboy model with no implants, and that’s a good thing. LOL.

Nicaragua - Indiana Sanchez (Miss Universe 2009)
I’m not sure about her lashes, they look fakish, though once again, I doubt it is so because it would be against the rules of the Miss Universe pageant. If it wasn’t, you’ll get lots of freak shows joining it. Not a big fan of her body, but her face looks like a million buckaroos.

Peru - Karen Schwarz (Miss Universe 2009)
This is a potential winner in the making, well, according to the votes on the Miss Universe website. Karen is leading the voting count, though I’m not so sure why though. Her shaped brows or her bosoms? Hmmm. She does have nice eyes I have to admit, and she looks much better in her other photos.

Singapore - Rachel Kum (Miss Universe 2009)
Her hideous face is well supported by her ample bosoms. And that’s the only thing that separates her from Miss Malaysia, a shapely figure. I honestly do not believe she will even make the top 20, unless there’s a horny white middle-aged judge who visits Asia in typical gwailo-style looking for one night stands, cause she would probably look like Rachel. Ouch.

Venezuela - Stefania Fernandez (Miss Universe)
What’s with Venezuelans and their women? While her body is nothing to write home about, her sensual face especially her sultry eyes is the bomb. I always told myself that if I am single until the age of 35, I would drop all my stuff and set sail for Venezuela. Luckily I found Mel, who is my Miss Universe. Stefania is certainly a favorite.

Vietnam - Hoang Yen Vo (Miss Universe 2009)
Yes, she is the voters favorite for Asia, and just by looking at her, you can guess why. Though she may not have exotic features, her sultriness brings out a degree of classy sexuality, that demonstrates her confidence. I would say that this is certainly Vietnam’s best looking beauty in the last couple of years, and is Asia’s best bet for the title.
There you have it folks, my selection of potential winners of Miss Universe 2009, purely on looks mind you. Don’t bother going through the rest because they’re simply forgettable, and yes, you can thank me for “painstakingly” going through the list to compile the best-looking ones, except Malaysia and Singapore, that’s just there to remind ourselves that these 2 countries are once again, not very well represented.

How come all of them look almost similar to each other? Ha ;D
Opps! I must have a look at the website myself. Now where’s Miss India gone
Ha! You have a thing for Latino women….
Anyway, about Venezuela and their women. I saw in a documentary once that the women there are groomed from young… posture, etiquette, and are basically taught about all things pagentish from a very young age. As for the looks and bodies, it’s most probably a combination of good genes, and (although I’m not sure about the competition rules regarding surgery – will look it up if I have the time), the common woman on the street there would have undergone something at some point or another…
here we go again.. I’ve been quite lost touch with the major beauty pageants lately.
For Malaysia.. i will never understand how they choose the winner. There’re always other prettier contestants in the national pageant and the prettiest never win.. and then they send the not pretty winner to Miss Universe.. probably makes ppl wonder if Malaysia got no pretty girls or wat??
LOL. agree with tekkaus, they all look alike only. the msia n sg really tak boleh
i luv the jap body….she looks hot and tempting! haha
i hate skinny women….if i were a man then definitely no appetite looking at them! and also no no to mat salleh’s skin tone…
miss malaysia..sigh..tak boleh la..
miss malaysia and indonesia look different from the video…whereas miss vietnam i think holds high chance in entering top 20..she looks hot in video as well!
Vietnam is HOT HOT HOT!!
kesian la the malaysia one…she’s pretty, but when stacked together with the other beauties, it’s just too painful to see the comparison…and i think that Cassandra Patrick would’ve redeemed us had only she won…
tekkaus – The best of the lot, and probably depicts my taste in women.
cicak – Gone back to India!
terrashield – I do? No, I have a thing for BRUNETTE.
Interesting story about Venezuela though.
jc – Yeah, Malaysia’s a joke, but it’s good though, hopefully continues to put off horny white men from violating our women and go to Thailand instead.
xin –
sweetie~ – I too hate skinny women. Freaking useless. White men skin tone is usually pale, hence their love for sun.
HQ – Yup. FAIL. Miss Vietnam is a hottie.
emelda – Ya man!!
Amanda – I disagree, Ms Malaysia is OUT OF SHAPE. Cassandra who?
wahaha..vietnam has a good chance..can I pack her home?haha..
u sure did put a lot of hard work on this, yea
hvent been following this sort of pagent for a while…but im always partial towards the south americans…the Venezuelans in particular are some hot stuff!
cassandra is the 2nd runner up, if im not mistaken, from sabah also…and yeah, she just got the face (but of course not miss-world-quality) but body not so…
Costa Rica! Ireland and Indonesia! Thx Daniel for making my day. LOL
have u noticed tat the vietnam girl is a eurasian? if she was not, dont think she would have had a chance.
wel – Can.
bee – I sure did didn’t I? It was “hard work”. LOL!
Amanda – I looked her up, she does look better than our Miss Malaysia. Oh well.
Sunil – No problem. Bet you miss the sight of women on my blog huh?
Ragubalan – Of course, mixed-race always works!
I say Vietnam and Indonesia…
Waaahhhhhhhhh…..
WWWhhooaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
WuHHHHOOOAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Wow…you’ve analyzed each of the girl’s physical features with a magnifying glass, haven’t you? What about their personalities? Many a time I find that they spoil their chances the minute they are put on the mike LOL
I also like Viet Nam and Indonesia – where are Thailand and India? I agree with you on Great Britain but certainly don’t think Miss Singapore is “hideous”!!! That’s rather cruel…
I’m quite disappointed with Miss Malaysia too – her rack certainly screams “SILICONE IMPLANTS” esp when paired with the matchstick arms.
I’ve always liked Josephine Fonseka even though many Malaysians think she was fat. She was not!!!
cyril – Hahahaha!
KittyCat – Oh yes I did, but yeah, once they open their mouths, it’s a different story.
Thailand and India did not make the cut, I don’t find them interesting speciments.
Josephine or Andrea?
Where is Miss Philippines? She is the most genuine-looking among a bevy of breast-implanted contestants.
Stefania is certainly a favourite and indeed she is.
She’s got hold of the tiara already.
All of your favourites Dan, only one made it to the top. Not just the top, the fairest of ‘em all some more. You certainly have the eyes for the winner.
augustman – I disagree.
chegu carol – Thanks. My last “successful” one was Kurara Chibana, she ALMOST won it.
Well, stay tune for my Miss World prediction, that one usually I get it wrong! LOL!
