Some men, until today, are a little ignorant that their appearance plays a major first impression on women. Here are some basic tips for you to appear more presentable to the ladies.

1. Nails
How long does it take to cut your fingernails? Not much time right? Well, at least before a date, cut them clean. Ladies will notice. And please, don’t be an idiot by keeping one fingernail long. It’s unhygienic and you’ll look like a retard.

2. Nose Hairs
Some guys I have met have nose hairs that are protruding, which I find utterly disgusting. Imagine a woman’s reaction? Get a nose trimmer, or a small nose hair scissors.

3. Eyebrows
Trim the bugger or you’ll end up looking like a caveman. I usually trim it every week or so. Simple rule of thumb, if you notice your eyebrows are sprouting more than usual cut it. As for unibrows, that’s another story.

4. Pubic Hair
Trim it, don’t have to shave it clean, because it’ll become prickly (excuse the pun). Don’t keep a bush and hide your schlong inside.

5. Your Clothes
If you’re skinny, don’t wear baggy clothes, and if you’re fat, don’t wear tight clothes. You can’t hide your weight. If you wear long sleeve shirt, try to fold the sleeves to just below your elbows for a smarter effect.

6. Shoes
By nature, women love shoes. So, that means you have to make sure your shoe is clean, and of course, looks cool.

7. Hair
Do not have long hair, because it looks stupid. Leave the long hair to women. I shaved my head bald years ago and haven’t looked back. You don’t have to shave it all off, but at least keep it neat.

There you have it. Basic tips.

I know that most times, men are simple creatures, we are easy to understand because we do not give hints but direct obvious answers staring at your face. Having said that, some guys may not be as upfront about his feelings. So how do you tell if he’s in love with you?

Eye Contact
The more frequent he makes eye contact with you and slower to look away, he’s in love. Whenever he speaks to you, notice his eyes, it should be making contact with you at least 75% of the time.

His Plans
This one’s a no-brainer, if he’s planning for the future, and includes you in his plan, from buying a house to going on a vacation, guess what?

Making Space
If you’re living together, you’ll notice that he’ll start making space for you or even start buying stuff that you like.

Part of the Family
Comfortability with each other’s family is another good sign of love. See how he fares with your family and his when you’re together.

Talks About Children
Like me, I want 6 kids while my wife wants 2 so we’re settling for 4. Obviously we will cross the bridge when we get to one first, but if a man starts talking about children, you’re set!

Don’t you sometimes wonder how do older men attract younger women? Well, here are the reasons why I think older men become magnets for women apart from their wallets.

Rock On
No, they don’t look like The Rock, but they become a rock in a younger woman’s life. Why do you think that’s an attractive trait? Well, younger women have a lot of drama and tend to freak out more. Older men become non-judgmental rocks, they don’t try to fix her problems or be their daddy because they have learned from experience.

Chivalry isn’t Dead
Yes. Opening doors, walking out the outside of the curb, pulling their chairs out of courtesy still applies. Chivalry isn’t dead and it makes a huge impression on younger women because you’ll come off looking classy compared to other guys she has ever dated.

Infrequent Face-to-Face
Are you surprised? Older men spend less time with women, because they know that younger women are less in control of their emotions and tend to become very clingy. Older men, again, from experience probably spend twice a week with them in the beginning, and unless they want the woman to become very attached, they will do just that.

Let Women Pursue Them
Just like kittens, younger women, if you ignore them, they will come to you. If you go to them all the time, you’ll end up like her daddy. So older men let her go and live her life, and it won’t be long before the younger women become the pursuers.

No Early Moves
Do you know that virtually every attracting young woman has at least one story about a gross sketchy old fella who tried to do something with her. Older men know that if you make a move too early, you’ll end up looking like a pervert who cannot be trusted. 

Be the boss
No, don’t be bossy, but be the boss of the relationship. No women are attracted to men who do not lead, who does not have a backbone. Younger women especially, have less life experience, so leading them improves your odds considerably because no woman like a wuss. Again, it’s a fine line that older men have perfected.

Don’t be a creep
Older men do not turn into a weirdo when they get into a relationship with a woman, going all bananas with jealousy and following her around, unlike younger inexperienced men who are not in control of their emotions – a sign of immaturity.

6 Physical Insecurities of Men

Tummy
This is the most worrying one for us. Why do you think we don’t point to a woman’s gut? It’s because we have bulging tummies of our own and secretly hopes it miraculously goes away. I’ve taken to task this year to give myself 1 year to get rid of my pouch.

Baldness
It’s no problem for me as I’ve been told that I have a well-rounded head. But not all men are lucky and they struggle to cover that baldness. From combing over to hair transplant to toupee to just about anything.

Acne
After so many years, I still can’t 100% get acne out of my body, no matter what I do. I realize it develops because of dodgy sleeping patterns, you need minimum 8 hours of sleep. We hate acne, and will notice when your eyes stray to one of our zits the size of Jupiter.

Sweat
I can easily sweat, that’s why I hate Malaysian weather, and love air conditioners. Some sweat more than others do, but the bottom-line is, everybody sweats. It’s just a matter of being conscious with your surrounding.

Back Hairs
Chinese men don’t have to worry, but for other men, it is a concern for us. When I shave my head bald, I usually pass the head zone into the neck zone to shave off any hairs. I don’t have a jungle on my back but tiny baby hairs. Major insecurity issue for most men.

Penis Size
While women are fixated on their boobies, men are fixated on the size of our penises.  Just like every woman wants to be a size bigger, men wants to have an inch or two longer no matter how long its already is.

Most of us go into denial when it comes to balding. I have to admit, I wasn’t balding naturally at first when I decided to go bald by choice. I thought it look better on me to complement my facial hair. These days, I noticed that I am thinning at the back of my head, not surprising due to aging and definitely stress.

Let’s face it, it’s a psychological blow to us men, losing our locks and it becomes a reminder that we are no longer young. Some men refuse to embrace baldness and go all out for find comical ways to cover up or to recover, from Rogaine to transplants to toupee.

Remember, there’s a lot of naturally bald men out there who still have successful careers, who still attracts ladies (many ladies actually prefer bald men). Don’t make a big deal out of your lack of hair, and no one else will either.

And please, no comb-overs and no ponytails to compensate balding, it just does not work that way!

3 Tips on How to Bald Gracefully

1. Keep it short – If you don’t want a clean shaved head like me, then keep your hair short, because if you try to hold on to your old style to cover your bald spot, it actually backfires because your bald spot becomes the focus.

2. Clean shaven – I no longer worry about having to style my hair, and become my own person with a statement. I am who I am. It has become my signature look and people remembered me more.

3. Facial hair – excellent compliment, especially mustache and goatee. If you can’t grow any, then ignore this. Haha!

You’re welcome. Now go get your confidence back.

Whatever way we do it, chances are remnants of it might come back out due to the pressure, although on the side, if you aim properly, it is minimized to 1%.

I don’t know about other men, but when I’m in the toilet at someone else’s home, I make it a point to pee a little to the side away from the toilet bowl.

At home, you can’t believe what I practice now – I sit on the toilet bowl to pee! Haha! I can hear the teasing comments being thought right now. However, after making it a habit at home, cleanliness levels go up to 99.9%. I don’t know if I’m willing to do that out an outsiders home though.

Now, who wants to invite me to their house? I’ll make sure my bladder is full before I visit. Haha!

The Noise Factor When Peeing in Toilet Bowls

Of course, there are some men who can never grow facial hair, those dudes are what I like to call as “a Glitch in the Matrix”.

We like compliments once in a while, but not lavish praises, it’s good to be acknowledged with the reasons that we were chosen to be with you in the first place. You’ll be surprised that we’ll help with all the chores without you asking.

We are bluntly honest not because that we like to see you get hurt, but because we simply care. However, if you decide to penalize us for it, we will then start to censor ourselves, and that is when the relationship hit the rocks.

Things Men Wish Women Knew

The word love does not mean we have to cling to each other ALL the time, just like women who need stamp of approvals from their girl friends, we men need the alliance with other men.

Women’s biggest pet peeves of men is that our first commitment is usually to ourselves. Right or wrong, we were raised in an environment that equates success to self-fulfillment. Relationships may seem to encroach on that but we do come around to understand that true self-fulfillment is dependent on fulfilling each other.

Women should remember to give credit where credit is due, and stop focusing on the smaller stuff when we have achieved bigger things for you.

Hmmm. Do we? Or is it just a natural process of aging, where your metabolism comes down to a halt? Or we think it that way and hence just cave in to that believe by letting our stomach bulge until the only way for us to see our ding-a-lings is through a periscope?

I believe there’s no clear cut reasoning as to why men develop paunches, but I do not believe you can call it a beer gut, unless you’re ignorant enough to believe so. It’s just us gobbling up calories faster than our body can burn and it starts storing the fat closest to the section that is trying to digest the food.

I wonder if I have any married male blogger readers who wish to enlighten me on this. Did marriage took the pressure of staying fit?

You have got to be kidding me! A friend of mine told me about a conversation she had with a dude, when they met up for dinner with a bunch of friends. She is a very chatty by nature which is usually a sign of a confident woman.

However, this dude, after that dinner session, apparently as advice, told her the next morning, “You should learn to be like X, she’s more the quiet type. Guys like girls who are quiet.”

My jaw dangled with embarrassment on behalf of the REAL male species. Obviously this dude has confidence issues that he becomes insecure and timid around women who exhibit the slightest hint that they’re intellectual enough to carry conversations.

Women, please don’t settle for men like these, they just give real men a bad name. There is a reason why the dude’s still hunting around though eventually I’m sure he’ll catch an uncultivated woman.

On behalf of real men, the answer is NO. We like our women to be self-assured enough to hold her own conversations and be chatty instead of a recluse.

I flip-flopped over 10 years ago, as I experienced perpetual heating in you know where. There’s a reason why God intended our balls to be positioned ala alfresco - to keep the temperature cooler for the propagation of sperm. Now, stop pretending to be offended because it’s a fact and if you’re a dude, you should be heedful of it.

Thank God I’m blessed with none of it.

My addiction on PS2 games has now officially died down. I bought the PS2 last year and found my favorite game ever – God of War. FIFA 2009 was OK too and it fed into my addiction on football by creating a super Arsenal side with me playing as Captain. All other PS2 games are just bloody lame and attracts simpletons. Bollocks.

Previously, the term gamers were given to anti-social teens who rather spend hours and hours sitting on their ass everyday playing games. I used to be some form of a gamer – thanks to Championship Manager series where I remembered playing countless of hours (the game went on until the year 2023!) on my computer. But then, like everything else, the interest kinda waned.

These days, I noticed that more and more adults are into video games, these adults were the first generation of individuals exposed to computers. Some of them are more hooked on than others, and some of them use the games as a way of bonding with their children. That is a good thing but of course the children’s time needs to be controlled else they will end up being some form of anti-social freaks.

Most of us grew up watching one of the best cartoons in the form of The Simpsons and that has opened us to new realms of accepting gaming although we have aged.

I’m a seasonal gamer – and right now, only GOD OF WAR whets my appetite. Because of that, I just might buy PS3 in the coming years to play God of War 3 and then let the machine gather dust.
