It took me 3 months to find the right software as there were many out there that was crap, and it took me another week to learn the ins and outs of the software. So, if any of you need help in creating a photo montage for your wedding, just contact me. Of course, I’m not a charity foundation so there will be a minor fee depending on the number of photos, the length of the song and how many montages required.

Here are 3 photo montages that I prepared for my wedding on 22nd May 2010. The first one is a photo montage of Mel my wife, the second is a photo montage of yours truly, and the third is a montage of us together, days leading up to our big day.

I never regretted selecting Alvin Ting as our official wedding photographer to cover all events, pre-wedding, KK and KL. I somehow think that he may have regretted covering our memorable events. Anyway, I hope the events gave him a good workout!

Our Pre-Wedding KL Photoshoot @ Bridal Concept SS2 Petaling Jaya

We were happy with our final choice at the end, after scouring SS2 Petaling Jaya for a decent bridal house. The trick is to find the wedding gown first, then everything else will fall into place. My wife found not one but TWO gorgeous wedding dress from this bridal house called Bridal Concept (a Singaporean-based bridal house) in SS2 and that sealed it for us.

The package included 2 attires for her, 1 for the bridesmaid and another for myself. Also, for the photoshoot, we both had 5 attires each – 50 final photos, one large frame, 3 smaller frames, 2 wedding photo books, car deco, bridal bouquet, and 2 photo montages. It was a really good deal for us, and if you’re in the Petaling Jaya area of SS2 to look for a decent bridal house, I would like to suggest Bridal Concept. Then again, MAKE SURE you look for the wedding gown first like I said.

Here are my 9 favorite shots taken from Bridal Concept – indoor at the bridal house itself and a trip to FRIM, for the outdoor shoot.

Although Radzie wasn’t my official photographer, that role went to Alvin Ting, who covered our pre-wedding shoot in Sabah last February, then our big day in KK – church, lunch and dinner, and now I’m flying Alvin over with his better half for the event in KL this coming weekend.

Radzie was kind enough to come the following day, dropping by at Beringgis Resort where we were having a family BBQ at night by the beach, and gave me the copy of the photos. So, here are my favorite from his shots. Radzie now runs a studio in KK called Seri Gaya Studio.

No, it’s not in West Malaysia definitely. I’ve been to many places in Malaysia, and the best sunsets are found in Sabah. You may argue your own states, sorry peeps, Sabah sunsets are the best ones that one can find in Malaysia. My camera didn’t do much justice to its beauty.

This was my article that appeared in the February 2010 issue of Junk Magazine, an entertainment magazine that I have been contributing for over 8 months now. I review 3 albums every issue although I missed out on the March 2010 issue, look out for the next issue (either April or May) where I return with a review of 6 albums. I go simply by the name of, Daniel.

I hope to be able to continue to contribute to Junk Magazine, and if you know any magazines that are looking for people to review music albums, let me know as I’m keen to expand on this hobby.

Alvin gave me over 30 photos to choose from for him to be able to put up on his blog. So, after filtering the BEST for the wedding photo montage, here are the “rejected” photos, still superb in every way. No thanks to Alvin, we had a tough time deciding.

Genting Highlands – A View from My Condo

On a clear day, when Indons do not decide to burn their forests to clear land for agriculture and what nots, I can see Genting Highlands from my condo in Shah Alam. Of course, KLCC & Twin Towers are a “permanent” view if we’re haze-free, but it takes a special day (just a handful a couple of month) where we are able to see the land of gambling.
