Bryan Adams – 11 (Album Review)

Bryan Adams - 11

The man with the BEST male voice in the music business, is back with another album! OLE! 11 tracks. The first track, simply continues the Bryan Adams’ signature style. Heck, it’s much much better than Lenny Kravitz’s new album, which was a major dud.

Unfortunately, the downside of sticking to your guns, gets predictable after 11 albums. Hence, there are no major surprises in the album. Here’s a rundown of the best songs on the album.

Tonight We Have the Stars
A distinctive Bryan Adams opener, with glowering verses followed by made-for-arena chorus.

I Ain’t Losin’ the Fight
A more or less bluesy number, about the fight for love, equilibrated with an ingratiating music arrangement. My favorite track on the album.

Somethin’ to Believe In
It’s an acoustic-powered track sugar-coated, sounds like a ending credit to an 80′s movie. Nothing memorable.

Overall, this album gets a 4/10 on the Gallivanter scale.

Bryan Adams – I Ain’t Losin’ the Fight
How come the best ones are always taken
What i see when i see ya – is love in the makin’
Something about timin’, something about fate
Gotta go with the feeling – not a moment too waste

Bring it on bring it on -ya – i was born ready
I’m a son of a strong man – i’m rock steady
Everything you throw – i can see it coming
Ain’t gonna be no TKO just a lot of lovin’

Cause opposites attract this way
If day is night and night is day
If loving you is wrong then babe – wrong is right
And i ain’t losin’ the fight

Take it on, take it on, take it on – no second guessing
Dressin’ up a situation – we should be undressing
Hear the bell ringing – seconds out round two
I got my eyes on the prize, and the prize is you
