District 9 – A Movie Review
Yes, I’m sure you must be surprised. I rarely review movies unless it’s worth mentioning.
I watched District 9 last night and was totally blown away! It is way better than Transformers aka Tranny Formers & GI Joe aka Gay I Joe combined! It is easily the movie of 2009!
The plot sounded questionable at first, “An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.” But after watching it, it shows you how pathetic the human race is, which is bloody embarrassing. It only affirms that we humans are the scum on the planet especially when money is involved as greed takes over.
In fact, we should call ourselves prawns instead. Watch the movie and you’ll know why I said that.
VERDICT: 8/10

Watch “when the world stood tall” and “knowing” of how even creatures in the universe worried about us damaging the precious earth….huhuhu..its a fiction movies but it does make sense…
I thought it would be a boring movie as it was quite slow at the beginning. but agree with you. I remember its story line vividly than Transformers and GI Joe. However, for the action packs, of course I love the latter best.
i like how they reflect this to what’s happening around the world now.
Will really want to catch this movie later.. at the very least, download it.
after watching this movie many people will start declaring how humans are such rubbish pile of greedy sadistic beings… but at the back of their minds they will always say that this never applies to themselves because we always perceive ourselves as the good people in the universe.. hehehhehe… such is human nature…

LOL!!! i watched tht movie!! but i really felt like vomiting, had big nausea. i like how they framed the dude having sex with prawn to get infected.

ALTing – True true, we are all guilty to a certain degree, but we’re probably the lesser of the evils. Still evil though. Sometimes, we don’t realize and it’s movie like these that we humans CONSTANTLY need as a reminder of how pathetic we can be.

cicak – The reason why the trailer is boring because it had to keep all the juicy bits. But trust me, this movie is GREAT.
