My Nokia 6300 Reviewed

Nokia 6300

I’ve been a proud owner of that slim Nokia 6300 for almost a month now. NO REGRETS. It’s a slim and sleek phone, coupled with all the functionalities of a modern mobile phone, barring 3G. How slim? 106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm. It weighs a measly 91 gram.

16 million colours with a mini USB support and a 2MP (1600×1200 pixel) camera. Talk time of up to 3.5 hours, and a standby of some 300+ hours. The camera doesn’t come with auto-focus nor flash, but, I bought a phone NOT a camera!

The phone feels very solid, and with a stainless steel cover. It’s so comfortable to carry around in my jeans. The screen is kinda large, so no worries of me squinting.

The navigation keys feels a little thin on the side and can be awkward at times to press. One cool feature is the blue lights on either side of the 6300, which glows when you have an unread text message – not that big a deal, but I like.

To summarize, the 6300 typifies what Nokia does best – it’s frigging simple, so easy to use and it feels sturdy. Yes, it would have been great to have 3G connectivity, but I hardly use 3G anyway.
