Rocky Balboa Reviewed

Rocky BalboaRocky Balboa
Wow, piracy even exist in Seoul. OLE! I watched Rocky Balboa rather apprehensively, after hating the last one, Rocky 5. In the end, I thought Sly Stallone directed and wrote it rather commendably. And like any typical Rocky film, it had my adrenalin pumping, though the ending was a letdown - but, having thought of it again, I’d say it make perfect sense. Not much fight in this one folks, just about a man, trying to get on with his life by burying his unfinished business. 8/10

Night at the Museum
I watched Night at the Museum with my best friend, her brother, her boyfriend and another friend at the local cinema in Seoul on New Year’s Day. Ben Stiller, can be extremely annoying sometimes. This movie, is so Jumanji-like, but it had a feel good vibe to it. It started out slowly, and then got me asking, “okay, what next?”, but somehow it picked up. Most jokes were lame, but you Malaysians would love it. LOL. There was one bit that had me in stitches. Overall, a relaxing feeling towards the end that made me wanna go visit a museum. 5/10

Borat
An incredibly original movie that I’ve nothing but praise. It was hilarious in certain parts and disgusting in certain parts. Overall though, I find it refreshingly different. No wonder it’s been banned in Malaysia. Word up to Ali G for the innovative idea. 7/10

The Illusionist
An ending with a twist. Apart from that, a general disappointment. 5/10
