What a game by the Germans! This is so unlike them and it’s a much welcomed surprise from a team that I’ve been supporting since 1990. This is a very young side that has so much potential to go on to dominate the world scene in the coming years. That 4-1 England thrashing followed by the 4-0 Argentina thrashing were just amazing.

Only Spain and Holland stand in the way of Germany claiming their 4th World Cup title. However, I think it could be a case of one too many strong opponents. Spain will and should prove a much tougher opponents than England and Argentina combined, so I’m not expecting much from this young German side.

Unlike most of you out there, I only support ONE team, and not a group of so-called “elite”, hoping for one to lift the world cup to satisfy my footballing desires. If you support more than one national team, you’re just someone who’s scared to lose. I dare you to pick ONE national team only and stick to them forever. Can?
