Boring England, Shocking Trinidad
That England match was THE remedy for insomniacs. It was so wearisome that I would’ve gotten a better exhilaration watching grass grow! They played like buffalos. Slow and flabby. Dullest game of the tournament so far! Paraguay deserved a draw. Speaking of draws, Trinidad rode their luck in their game against Sweden, or, Sweden were just luckless. Withal, what a point for the first timers! I don’t think there’ll be many high-scoring (one-sided) games in this edition.Â
Argentina vs Ivory Coast was an arousing game, though I was barely awake throughout the game. The Argentines were technically proficient and the Ivorians were extremely swashbuckling. It’s still difficult to betoken the top 2 finish of this group. Hopefully, we get to enjoy another gallant game in the form of Holland vs Serbia.
BTW, I watched CARS earlier in Sunway Pyramid. It’s better than the worst animation ever – THE INCREDIBLES. It’s the second worst animation ever! Gimpy jokes for a 2 hour movie. Though, the animation was better than ever! It’s so incredibly realistic! Loads of family and moral values, typical. *YAWN* 4/10.
Yea, England’s game was utterly boring,Ivory coast was good tho..i wished they were in another group, so they could qualify…(coz i want argies and holland to qualify too!)..yea i’m greedy..:P

England is just waaaayyy overrated. I only watced 10 mins of the first half and didn’t even bother with the second half.
It turned out like I expected..a lousy 1-0 with an own goal.

I kind of hope England gets shut down, not necessarily because they have a crappy team, but to knock that ego down a notch or ten. Some of the most arrogant and rude players I’ve ever seen.

Maybe my expectations for CARS was too high…but I certainly hated Incredibles! Long live LUIGI & GUIDO! LOL!
If there were another strong team in Group B (instead of the hapless Paraguayans) England would have serious problems of even advancing past the group stages.
Oh, what joy that would be!
We definitely have conflicting taste on movies, because other than Cars, I simply love Incredibles and Toy Story.
And that’s why we’re unique, just like everyone else….
