Bloggers’ Day Gathering
Malaysians, we always have a habit of showing up late. I was there @ 8pm, and met a few early birds, some whom I know of their blogs, but have never met them in person. And many of them were young bloggers, kinda made me feel out of place. I chilled until 10pm before I had to leave the scene for a housewarming cum birthday party that I had promised to attend.
Most of these guys were gentlemen of the highest order, unfortunately, the lack of spiritual beverages gave an overall guarded vibe – maybe it was just me. I went around introducing myself to as many people (as usual), but forgot their names in the process (as usual). There were too many, but these ones, I’ve heard or have visited their blogs before. I was Elaine‘s “Anti-Shy” guy, as she puts it.
Elaine needed some help to make an early announcement, so I did, though I’m sure most of them were wondering who the hell I was. I had a mug of beer (boo to Carlsberg!) with Kenny, Nick and Yeo before leaving.
If you missed this event, come for the BLOGGER BOOZE this weekend. It’s just a simple meeting of strangers and friends. Bring as many friends as you can, and it’s open to all.
