Rollercoaster @ Kota Kinabalu
A plethora of dramas. Sore throat. Fever. Flu. Broken tooth. No whitewater. No tip of Borneo. No monkeys with funky noses. Scalded foot. It began to dawn on me that I may have been cursed by a Sabahan. LOL.

Wei Chuen, Lionel, Me & Papajoneh
But, not matter what bad luck I endured, a person who I’ve been dating in the past couple of weeks, who is coincidentally a Sabahan, gave me a surprise visit in KK on Friday night at the bloggers meet, and hours later, a couple – and she told me that it happened on 7th July 2007 – 777. I didn’t realize that.
So, after 3 years of being single by choice, I’ve now met my emotional liberator. Both of us went through a rollercoaster ride on this trip though. She was supposed to go home on Monday, but on Sunday night, had her foot scalded by cooking oil her mom accidentally dropped. So she got a 3 day medical leave and stayed with me.
Friday, KK Bloggers Meet. Saturday, a drive to Penampang and Papar, and a visit to the doctor for meds, and later clubbing with Jacq & Wei Chuen @ Cocoon – though I was sick and canceled white water, I’m not just gonna mope at the hotel room, no way. The cancellation made Debbie upset and she let her intentions known by the text messages I got. So hopefully time can mend this little rift.

The Last Drink
Sunday, rested, and caught DIE HARD 4.0. Monday, rested and caught TRANSFORMERS in the evening, and had 3 pints of Kilkenny’s at Shamrock. Tuesday, a quick drive to Nexus Karambunai and Tanjung Aru (both overrated), and at night, seafood @ Salut with Jacq & Wei Chuen, followed by karaoke @ Cempaka.
Wednesday, went to the dentist because I broke my tooth (had it removed) while eating crab the night before @ Salut (this tooth was niggling for months now and it finally gave way), and later at night, drinks @ Shamrock with Papajoneh, Jacq, Wei Chuen, Lionel, Josie and a bunch of other friends for the last time.

Lionel, Papajoneh, Wei Chuen, Jacq, Mel, Me, Jossy & Josie
The persons I got close to the most were Jacq & Wei Chuen. Papajoneh made the list on the last day. He cracks me up. LOL. I rate the 3 of them very highly, and I can’t wait to catch up with them soon. I shall be back, and hopefully this time, without the need to visit the doctor or the dentist to have a tooth removed! Hahaha!
