Bert & Ernie – In The Tub
50 Cent, the coinly rapper behind Dre’s signature IN DA CLUB, intemperately adopted the tune from the gay characters of Sesame Street, Bert & Ernie. Man, I used to love watching Sesame Street before pubescence, particularly Grover (Super Grover), Bert & Ernie, Guy Smiley and Count von Count. I scorned Big Bird and it’s confused gender, Oscar for being the misanthropist, Snuffleupagus for being infuriatingly densed, Cookie Monster for just making up the numbers, Elmo for being the ultimate pain in the butt and Kermit the Frog for being plain irritating.
Anyway, not to stray from the topic, Bert & Ernie – were they gay lovers? Did their queer relationship spur Elton John and George Michael? And what about THAT rubber ducky? Well, this song might help you clear some of those questions. Or does it? Who said white people puppets can’t rap? LOL

Since we are on the subject of children tv characters’ sexual orientation, remember the Telly-Tubbies? They were a big hit in UK. And the purple one, Tinky-Winky, always carry this really ugly red hand-bag.
Thing was, Tinky Winky is suppose to be a male-character.
With a name like that and the red hand-bag, we know better…yes?
