The Main Benefit of Staying Away From Plastic Bags!
Yes, I have been practicing this for almost a year now – wherever possible, I turn down the use of plastic bags, particularly if I only buy a thing or 2 which I can easily carry by hand. I’m also influencing Mel to do the same and she has embraced it too. It’s simple things like these, if all of us can do it, could easily reduce earth’s plastic waste.
Now, we have bought a few recycled shopping bags and carry those around with us in our cars, to take it out when we need it for grocery shopping.
Come, let us be more proactive in taking care of mother nature, for the sake of our future generation.
That’s why I fully support the Penang and Selangor government, both run by the opposition, who have implemented “No Plastic Bag Day” around certain days of the week. I hope the whole of Malaysia follow suit and charge RM0.50 per plastic bag every day of the week. This would be a good start, baby steps to save planet earth.

I wonder why the government has not gone straight to enforcing the law that just stops the supply of plastic bags in the country.

Im gonna start refusing plastic bags from now onwards! Say NO to plastic bags!
KK have started its No Plastic Day on every Monday although only major supermarket and malls are on it. Even my school is implementing the same thing one every Wednesday. Just started last week. An obvious benefit that we could see from this program is that the school compound is much cleaner.
Once I refuse a plastic bag at 7-11. The counter fella said “Cik kena ambil kalau tak boss marah”.
OHMYGOD!
I totally support the move of not using plastic bags too but I do take one or two or three sometimes. Need to use them for throwing rubbish at home!

The only time where I accept plastic bags is when I buy wet food like fishes, meat and chicken, but I hope to improve and embrace change to stop using plastic bags for good. 
i support ‘no plastic bag!’i prefer carrying things i bought in my shopping bag..easier and look cool too..
