Do Men Let Go of Their Weight After Marriage?

Hmmm. Do we? Or is it just a natural process of aging, where your metabolism comes down to a halt? Or we think it that way and hence just cave in to that believe by letting our stomach bulge until the only way for us to see our ding-a-lings is through a periscope?
I believe there’s no clear cut reasoning as to why men develop paunches, but I do not believe you can call it a beer gut, unless you’re ignorant enough to believe so. It’s just us gobbling up calories faster than our body can burn and it starts storing the fat closest to the section that is trying to digest the food.
I wonder if I have any married male blogger readers who wish to enlighten me on this. Did marriage took the pressure of staying fit?

Easy la bro..
If the wife cooks, the husband has to eat it all up. If not, then next time got no food anymore. So, too much food=gain weight. hehehehe..
people have lower metabolism when they age. it’s a fact that older people have more fat. my husband got chubby and boroi after we got married because usually when you see a fat man after they get married means that they are content and happy. lol!!!
well afterwards he started to hate seeing his fat image and not fitting into his jeans and all so he and his father started going to the gym daily for a couple of years now. now he’s fit, his dad from boroi is now very huge with muscles. my husband still eats all he wants which is a plus!
my husband said he wants to get fit because he loves to eat but doesn’t want to die early ;D
Someone I know got a bit chubbier after getting his first kid because he had to eat up all the baby’s leftover food since they didn’t want to let it go to waste. Naturally the wife wouldn’t eat that cos she didn’t want to get fat. LOL.
LOL. i somehow have an image of you 5 years down the road in my head
Im not married yet, but I will be soon… And I dont think it’s a cause of marriage, I see no reason for myself to “slob up” after marriage, I like the love of my life to feel confident around me and I want to look the best for her… But thats just me
My bro was always stick fit. Then came the time when he reached 30 and the prosperity disease came along… Then came his wife who said ‘dear… Can u finish this for me?’ or ‘Don’t waste… Pls finish it…’ Henceforth, it has been harder to keep stick fit.
Yeah, looks like it’s a mixture of happiness and a nosedive in metabolism rate. I can feel the love in my stomach already! Arrghh!
To me getting married is bliss coz the husband gets to eat good homecooked meals almost 5 – 6 days in a week… but married or not it’s a matter of moderation in food intake as wisely as you can, you are what you eat right… hubby eats 6 small meals a day but he doesn’t pack on the pounds as much… ;-p
Olie – Really, I’m already enjoying that before I’m married.
