Motley Crue – The Animal in Me
I checked out Motley Crue’s latest album, “Saints of Los Angeles”, featuring the group’s original lineup. After blogging about the title track, “Saints of Los Angeles”, which I think takes us back to the good old 80′s rock and roll.
The other songs on the album is rather weak though, nothing stands out as much as this tune, “The Animal In Me”, a mid-tempo rock tune which I feel, if released, should do considerably well in the rock charts.

Wow, Nikki and co are still alive? If what I read about them were all true, they all should’ve been dead by now
Yes, i think The Animal In Me is quite good, the hook is there and it’s just my kinda music. Of course it’s always going to be an uphill task to reach the heady heights reached by classics such as Girls Girls Girls, Five Years Dead, Wild Side, Same Old Situation, Dr Feelgood etc etc. They also could pull of ballads with the rest of them (Journey included!) with Without You and You’re All I Need.
ben They are dead? I agree about reaching the heady heights of their previous years. But, this album’s not too tatty.
