Can We Survive Without a Mobile Phone?
[ad]
In this day and age, I don’t think so. What was once a luxury is now a necessity, especially with the current society embracing less morality in return of the animal instincts due to the pressures and competitions within the society.
Those days, before the mid 90s, no one relied on mobile phone. We were all ON TIME for everything because we organized all meetings through the house phone.
These days, your friends and families are just a call away and hence we take things for granted. We no longer make efforts to keep in touch with our friends, we no longer go out as often as we did making house visits whenever we could.
This is the downside of technology. Unfortunately, the world’s in such a state that not having a mobile phone would make people think you’re a weirdo.
Can you survive without your mobile phone?

Without a handphone, maybe. But without internet, no.
I can’t live without a handphone. I don’t think I’d be saying this a decade ago. LOL
I even bring my handphone along when I’m at my kampung doing some err..’kerja kampung’. (I don’t know la how to explain in English..)
Hmmmm…I just don’t like receiving sms…especially from my boss!
heck no and i’ve unfortunately had to try – ended up writing posts about my misrable day without one – can’t live without the internet either!
Sad to say I don’t think I could go anywhere with out my cell phone.
I had tested myself I think sometimes last year 30 days without phone. I survived. But 1 day without internet I dont think so…(”,)
(send my regard to mel. miss u both)
Hi Daniel Franklin Gomez,
I have been reading your blog quite often lately and I am still waiting for some other new articles on male-female dynamics because that is my area of interest too!
Keep up the short and sweet posts !
I honestly could survive without a mobile phone… and just like anyone else… It kind of hard to give up the internet… coz you dont have the chance to meet all this wonderful people through random phone call or sms… haha
yes i can, provided there’s alternative like psp nearby.. he he
I can definitely survive without my hp as long as there’s a phone or pay phone around.
i thinkkkk.. i oso can survive but i better dont want to live without HP..
miahaha..
JL – What about emergencies?
Che-Cheh – You and me the same.
guong – I’ll pretend to understand what kerja kampung means, as long it’s not monkey business.
Mouren – That aside, these days, it is a necessity isn’t it?
visithra – Yeah, agreed.
Nick Phillips – Neither could I.
sheela – Hmmm, I don’t think I can survive a day let alone 30 days.
ahmad fadli – Hi Ahmad, well, it’s seasonal, if I have ideas, I’ll write about it. Give me some topics to write and I shall comply.
d chiam one – Both are such importance. But a mobile phone is more difficult to survive without, especially for emergencies.
clement – OK, you’re a game freak, that doesn’t count!
Perky – But of course.
Nadia – You think, you sure?
I absolutely cannot survive without a handphone especially if I’m outside of my home. I will feel lost, and uncomfortable like a drug addict going on a Cold Turkey.
One time, I forgot to bring my handphone when I went to work. I only realized it when I reached my workplace and I drove all the way home to get it. I cannot imagine how to survive one whole day outside without my handphone! It’s more important to me than my wallet and MyKad! : )
I will be in a mess if I had to live without my handphone now…. =.= cannot live with out handphone and Internet…
No …
So far I’ve been able to manage that with phone booths
i just need connection what i meant here is, i can live without HP as long as there are internet or any other way to connect..hehehe…
I can survive without a handphone. I have to sometimes be in areas where the handphone is utterly useless so better to rely on the basics. If we go back to the non-hp/internet ages, i think i will be ok. Just don’t take away my car…
i cant. i’ve tried before and its useless. mobile phone is a thing of necessity these days. u
i totally agree with foongpc..i can ignore those wallets and mykad should i left it at home. but not the handphone…. I’d feel so suffocated without it.. ngiahaa
mobile phone is my watch and my emergency usage.
foongpc – You and me the same. Maybe it’s the current world we live in, that makes us edgier than before.
AngeLBeaR – Yeah, necessity these days.
deana – That’s straightforward.
JL – But of course!
Vienne – Really? But internet doesn’t connect you with your loved ones, especially emergency.
Pinknpurplelizard – You sure?
tomato – Ya man!
deedee – Yeah, importante!
TH – Agreed.
i still ok without handphone… but I cant live without an internet!
Archie – Really? I think both is as equally impossible.
