Extreme Baptism!
[ad]
I know back in those days, people were baptized in rivers because it was the purest (debatable) form of water. These days, some christian denominations follow the Catholics in annointing of the holy water on the forehead as a symbol of baptism – surprising to know that there are some elements that Catholics DO keep up with the times!
Unfortunately, there are some protestants and ALSO SOME Catholic communities who insist on doing it old school. I’m sure the person who came up with that protestant denomination has a sick fetish for submerging people under (polluted) water for the hell of it. WTF.
Extreme baptism anyone? Swoosh!

No offense to anyone….but I thought what matters it the heart? Yeah! Maybe it is fun to try to “Drown” people? Hehe
In my religion you are not considered “baptized” unless you are fully submerged in water. I think its not a matter of following “trends” or “keeping up with times”, its just a matter of faith and keeping it “real”.
In our church, we have a small pool just enough to fit 2 people, which is solely used for baptism purposes ONLY. It is filled with water whenever a baptism ceremony is conducted, otherwise it is left empty.
But good that you pointed out that some religion just change whatever they want (even if it goes against the Bible) according to their fancies? I suppose afterall we do not want to be burdened and inconvenienced, at least not enough, when it comes to worshiping our Maker hey?
Like how I actually think that if we could text or email the man upstairs instead of attending church, getting down on our knees and pray we would, cos hell yea that is so much more time-saving and afterall we’re just keeping up with times
My two cents.
Wow. That looks traumatizing.
kinda kewl. hehe
Good thing they baptized me when I was a baby cos if they did it now, I’d decked the priest for trying to drown me!
that’s nice…must be well prepared with google and O2 tube…yup..what matter is soul and heart..hehe
The same with me too… i think its a matter of faith regardless of what method of baptism we are opting. Adherence with the bible doesnt mean that you must follow everything literally.
tekkaus – Unfortunately some religion do not see that. Want me to give you a list?
charlenediane – In your religion? You a pagan or protestant?
It’s not trends, but keeping up with the times – PRACTICAL. If you want to “keep it real” then my dear, you have to cut down a lot, according to the scriptures.
The pool thing, OK, I have to respect your religion, but the use of water is more of a symbol then needing to submerge in full water. The religion that changes whatever they want from the bible are always protestants, according to their fancies.
And by the way, you don’t need to show up to church to speak to God. Just in case no one told you that.
Melissa – Tell me about it!
Amanda – Ya man, all that’s missing is a helmet!
Nick Phillips –
I think your parents would too!
wel – Yes, so do we need extreme baptism like this one?
Rayns – Exactly. Tell that to protestants, it’s funny how they follow some codes to the book, but then question other areas? Customization of religion!
Dan…u’re in need of that, aren’t u?haha..
