Japan & Indonesia Rattled by Strong Quakes & a Tsunami!
I read this last night at The Star website shortly after lunch I think, and thought to myself, not another earthquake! At the opposite end of the world, Hurricane season is truly well and under way. I began to think the possible repercussions of the earthquake, even a Tsunami.
It was 7.0 magnitude, which is quite big, so I was prepared for the worst, evacuation, damages, livelihood threat etc. And the Tsunami of course seeing that it took place in the sea.
WTF?!! A 10cm tsunami??? Was this news reported by a midget or that cartoon character, Atom Ant? I can’t believe what makes the news these days! Can you imagine the locals’ reaction there, you see a wave coming from afar, and then run like your lives depend on it, screaming at the top of your lungs, “Run run! It’s a 10 centimetre Tsunami! Aaaaa!”
Damn you news tabloids. Damn youuuuuuuuuu!

It’s quite normal for the people in Japan facing all this catastrophe every year. But 10cm’s tsunami? hahahahaha this tabloids things sometimes make me sick
ROTFL! One thing yo can count on about the media, they can sure provide some fun!
I wonder what next? A 2 km/h tornado?
yeah, i think we get paranoia with more news like this? like we will flinch with any little slight/weird happenings…. its like our nerves are constantly waiting to jump, and news just maximise and every little thing looks BIG now~~
10cm tsunami!? What the heck. Perhaps, media ran out of idea to get reader’s attention?
Aj – Yeah, it is normal for Japan, possibly they even get 10cm killer tsunamis that can topple buildings!
Nick Phillips – I think they’re testing to see whether the public picks it up. This is TheSTAR of all papers – Kosmo or Malay Mail I would’ve accept. On second thought, TheSTAR is becoming a tabloid too.
Fei – Yeah, jump is the right word if you want to escape from the 10cm Tsunami!
Iris – It’s easy to get our reader’s attention, just write about the truth without any biasness for any political parties.
ROTFLMAO! Tabloids will sure be tabloids!
LOL 10cm !
it’s freaking shorter than a standard ruler…
JACQ – TheSTAR of all papers, probably the reporter is serving his resignation notice before joining Utusan Kosmo! LOL.
Genova – Ya man!
