Which Act No Longer Performing Live Would I’ve Loved to Have Seen?
Thanks Clement for the music tag.
5 acts. It was the least I could do. I’m not sure whether you’ve heard of White Lion and Cinderella, both were obscure rock bands in the late 80s that didn’t really hit it off. I’ll save them for another post.
As for the oldies, I would’ve love to have seen John Denver or CCR singing live. That would certainly be an unforgettable experience. But, most of all, the band which I would’ve loved to have seen performing live and bringing the house down – QUEEN.
Another One Bites the Dust, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, I Want it All, Princes of the Universe, Radio Ga Ga, Show Must Go On, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Living On My Own and I Want to Break Free.

Tag you’re it! Optional of course.
1) Caneeliea
2) Pixelated Mo
3) Tihtahpah
4) Wandering Sumandak
5) Parisbeaverbanks
6) Conancat

Aiyo! I’ve never even seen any and I’m so out of the music scene! lol I’ll try to come up with something
lol agree, i’m SOOO out of the music scene. can I talk about classical music? i know more about that… lol
ok..done!
I would love to watch QUEEN
I would gladly take any of the long haired bands (aka real rockers) from the 80s.
Paris Beaverbanks It’s actually which act you would like to see that’s no longer performing or together anymore.
conan_cat Yes yes, it’s your tag…
tihtahpah Read it, glad you agreed on Queen.
Sha Yeah, Freddy Mercury’s death is arguably the biggest lost for the music industry.
Izad Agreed – I especially like to see White Lion and Cinderella performing live, it would certainly be rocking concerts!
i want to break free toO!!!
Mine are : Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin (not possible now that Bonham is gone), Bob Seger & da Silver Bullet Band, Pink Floyd (Must have Gilmore and Waters. The Live8 performance doen’t count) and finally Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
Do you do you do you wanna rock? (Yeah!)
Do you do you do you wanna roll? (Yeah!)
Do you wanna have a good time (Yeah!)
All night long~~~! (YEAH!)
– Bob Seger
ha ha, thanks for doing it… i guess you love music, that’s why i tag u..
huei Yes, it’s time to break free from your current place – I’m sure there will be a place where you’re allowed to keep pets.
Wombat Dang! I should’ve tagged you too! Yes, I forgot about Dire Straits! Isn’t Bob Seger still doing live gigs?
clement Yes, I surely do love music. Thanks once again!
Sigh, Queen. I caught the Queen bug a little too late (months ago). It would be great to see them perform live, just like in the Freddy Mercury tribute.
My favorite songs are Tie Your Mother Down, Stone Cold Crazy and Somebody To Love.
I also have a small collection of Queen concert videos. Live in Wembley, Live in Budapest and the said tribute concert.
ohhh…..queen. actually would love to see WHAM as a group, I wanna listen to Boy George and I wanna hear QUEEN too!
Wooo! I agree…Queen absolutely rocks!
Hey, Cinderella & white lion!
“..when the children cry, let them know we try..”
“..waiting at the station, tears fillin’ up my eyes..”
(If my memory serves me correctly)
Wow this is a tough one for me. Will do it in a few days; hafta think about it first!
hmmm… i oso need time to thing’ about it… but Queen is without a doubt in my list…
decypher Well, I think all of us did, Mercury died in the early 90s. I began to dig Queen thanks to THE MIGHTY DUCKS & HIGHLANDER movies.
marsha Wham and Boy George?
Giddy Tiger Yeah, each time I listen to that HIGHLANDER song, I get goosebumps!
Kay Kastum Spot on! When the Children Cry & Heartbreak Station. Check out White Lion’s “You’re All I Need” & Cinderella’s “Don’t Know What You Got Til It’s Gone” and “Gypsy Road”.
JACQ No problem, you don’t need to do it if you can’t.
Mo No prob.
Galliventer : I checked. Bob Seger is still touring as recently as last year. Ok, Bob’s off the list to be replaced by ELO (I want the original Jeff Leyne one).
Wombat I love “Last Train to London”!
Ditto!
