Whether you are a famous person or otherwise, there are going to be people that love you for who you are, but there will also be a number of people who hate your guts. Possible reasons may be jealousy or you may have too many similarities to them or you’re just not their type. Whatever it is, don’t let it affect you by making it a big deal.

You have to learn to accept that not everyone is always going to like you and that’s OK. If some people shy away from you then that’s their problem just don’t let it get to you. You do not need everyone to like you for you to have some self-esteem.

Fuck ‘em. :-) Live your life and be who you are and who you want to be.

It’s true. What was a fad for introverts and timid individuals has now crossed over to attract more extroverts. The race to buy the latest gadgets usually comprises of social losers, freaks who just can’t get along with the world, but find solace on the internet.

Now, it attracts extroverted geeks, being tech-savvy is no longer a disdained trait but holds the epitome that connects a circle of friends. The internet was previously a refuge for the socially inept but now is a gateway for the sociall ambitious.

I used to not be this extroverted until I began making new friends through the internet. It somehow spurred me to show my true colors of being an extrovert. And yes, to an extent I can say I’m a geek, a controlled geek. I’m a bigger music addict than anything else.

The words social and geek can now be used in the same sentence without individuals flinching at the thought of labeling you as a loser.

My addiction on PS2 games has now officially died down. I bought the PS2 last year and found my favorite game ever – God of War. FIFA 2009 was OK too and it fed into my addiction on football by creating a super Arsenal side with me playing as Captain. All other PS2 games are just bloody lame and attracts simpletons. Bollocks.

Previously, the term gamers were given to anti-social teens who rather spend hours and hours sitting on their ass everyday playing games. I used to be some form of a gamer – thanks to Championship Manager series where I remembered playing countless of hours (the game went on until the year 2023!) on my computer. But then, like everything else, the interest kinda waned.

These days, I noticed that more and more adults are into video games, these adults were the first generation of individuals exposed to computers. Some of them are more hooked on than others, and some of them use the games as a way of bonding with their children. That is a good thing but of course the children’s time needs to be controlled else they will end up being some form of anti-social freaks.

Most of us grew up watching one of the best cartoons in the form of The Simpsons and that has opened us to new realms of accepting gaming although we have aged.

I’m a seasonal gamer – and right now, only GOD OF WAR whets my appetite. Because of that, I just might buy PS3 in the coming years to play God of War 3 and then let the machine gather dust.

If you can see me now, I’m grinning from ear to ear that would put the Joker to shame. Wenger’s visit to Malaysia wasn’t publicized much, and thanks to my colleague, who spotted a lilliputian section of the back page of the NST newspaper last week, I called my Arsenal compadre to confirm the news!

Until Monday, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go. I’ve been supporting Arsenal for 19 years so who was I bloody kidding? I put on my Arsenal shirt, left my office at 11am to Dayabumi. I then parked the car and dashed across to Dataran Merdeka hoping that I didn’t miss his arrival. I didn’t. :-)

I was energized to catch a glimpse of the man who symbolizes Arsenal. And boy I did! The short wait was worth it for me, despite basking in the terrible heat plus haze with some other 300+ fans.

Thanks to my ties with Anand, I got inside the ground with 50 supporters for a group photo session with Arsene Wenger! Unfortunately, I was positioned too much at the side, however the reason I did that because I was clean-shaven (NO GOATEE!). Yes, I had a shaving mishap! LOL!

I wonder if all men are the same as me, well, at least I hope that most are. My normal purchases are the usual shaving gel, deodorant, shower foam, shampoo, facial cleanser, facial toner and facial cream.

I have one idiosyncrasy when it comes to buying toiletries as I believe not to purchase the same product TWICE except for the shaving gel. Yes yes I contradict myself because there is no real competitor to Gillette.

I have this impression that our body is very adaptable to its environment. Thus, I feel that continuous application of the same product would result in it slowly losing its potency.

My current fixation is Garnier. This question I like to pose to the men who read my blog – how do you make your choices when buying toiletries?

Embracing chillies and relishing intense levels of spices has been the norm for me especially in my early years. Whilst the oriental heritage enjoy food enhancers like salt, sugar & MSG, the Indian ethnics prefer spices and chillies to mollycoddle their taste buds.

I used enjoy eating sambal belacan with white rice! Until today, my ultimate favorite dish is the sambal ikan bilis. Yes, I’m a man of zest. I can’t go for long periods (2 days max) without needing spice consumption.

What we extreme spice-loving Malaysians normally consume is the Thai Pepper aka chili pepper or popularly known as the Cili Padi or Cili Api. That has a scale of 100,000 on the Scoville scale. Imagine consuming a chili that is 10 times worst than the cili padi?

Can you do it?! This lady can as she wallops 51 chilies in 2 minutes en route to a new Guinness World Record!

That’s a white flag for me. How much do you love your chili? Behold, the world’s most hottest chilli – The Ghost Chili or Naga Jolokia!
