Seoul Searching with Rudy
My last sojourn in September 2005 acquainted me to the beauty and wonders of Seoul. This time around, it’s plainly about welcoming the new year with my best friend and the people she loves. It was Markus (her boyfriend) and her idea in the first place to get me there. They forked out for my flight ticket, and covered my meals, accommodation and transport during my week-long stay there. My years of annual suffering has finally bore fruit. LOL. But seriously, I love my best friend, and this year, makes it precisely 10 years since I’ve known her.
This IS what friendship is all about. I love her like my own sister. I’d give an arm and a leg, well not really, but you catch my drift. 
I even wrote a song for her a couple of years ago, aptly titled – “Dear Rudy”. This entry is dedicated to my one and only best friend, though the distances kept us apart, our unconditional friendship bonded us together. From New York City to Kuala Lumpur, to Seoul. Talk about continent-canvassing friendships. 
Rudy made me a better person that I am today. She was with me at my most weakest hour and uplifted me. Of all my friends, Rudy, I love you the most.

LOL on his first visit here he came during my birthday week.
And on my birthday we had a get together with friends. I got really drunk after this red drink that had flames (The bar thought they were doing me a favor). I got so sick. I didn’t know how we got home. I am not sure if this was when I was lying on my bed feeling like I was dying or if I was having an intimate moment with the toilet bowl but Daniel started playing the guitar and singing the song.
Even in my agony, with my boyfriend Markus holding my hair up, his singing soothed my soul. And believe me, my soul was having a huge tantrum due to too much alcohol.
Daniel – if you don’t give your audience what they want, I still have that copy you sent me when I got back from the US
