Working Out a Geisha in Matrimony

1) A Riveting Movie Marathon
Well, I finally ingeminated my movie marathon this week – watched several movies, some new and some old : The Man, Wedding Crashers, Red Eye (ALL ON DVD) Syriana and recently Memoirs of a Geisha (BOTH CINEMA).

The movie that impressed me the most was MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA. I really wanted to hop-skip this movie simply because of it’s lack of drawing power. I eventually buckled under my colleague’s arm-twisting maneuver and also my own inquisitiveness to watch the film. It is easily the BEST movie I’ve seen in the last 3 months. If I have to opt between KING KONG & this movie, my vote goes to the GEISHA. Super acting, really good score (viva John Williams!). All in all, a thoroughly enchanting film. I’d give it a 9/10.

It takes you on a poignant odyssey back in time, and if you have a good mind’s eye like me, you’ll actually enjoy it even more! If you have ANY imagination at all, you’ll still enjoy it. If you try to watch it with a pogo stick up your arse, then you obviously won’t! If you’re an emblematic obtuse male, then you won’t like it either. This movie is RECOMMENDED!

Also, have to cite a little on SYRIANA, a movie I viewed sometime ago. Another fantastic film about Americans and their political gambit to control OIL in the middle east. Fantabulous cast, and first-class acting by George Clooney. For this movie, you will need to have a fully functional brain to digest the dialogue. It’s a “thinking cap” movie and not like some STAR TREK / STAR WARS cow dung. I rate it 8/10. RECOMMENDED.

2) Working Out Butterfly-Effect
Well, the body’s slowly regenerating – the fruits of my labour is beginning to reveal a little, but then I got tranced in the kiasuness and pushed myself more adamantly last Monday, only to experience muscle aches, especially on my left arm. Will be going today to do some cardio and maybe light lifting. Don’t wanna push myself too hard else I may not enjoy tomorrow’s destined Karaoke session with the colleagues. Yes, I’m going karaoke-ing – not one of my ducky things to do, but a conceivable merriment ahead.

3) Fort Minor’s Shindig
The Linkin Park cuss, Mike Shinoda, and his new band, will be performing on the 28th February 06 @ the Bukit Kiara Equestrian club. Tickets are priced @ Rm112 – free standing. I bought them last night and am looking forward to a soundly concert. The last concert I went for was Sting and that was BRILLIANT! Will keep you posted on the night’s activity and hopefully sneak in a couple of pics to go with it. If you wanna go, but do not have anyone to go with, give me a hum (either through comments or through friendster) and you can always tag along. Just don’t be a hanger-on. :-)

4) Drugs Classification
This topic has caught my interest over the last week. I did some heraldry at home about the various classes of drugs, which I will share it with you here.
