Relationship & Money

Money – everyone has idiosyncrasies about it with money baggage too. When money talk comes up in a relationship, deal with it right away instead of putting it off, because any slowness will lead to feelings of bitterness and remorse.

Always commit some time to about money – about who pays for what and the monthly budget. Try to hash out about saving money and planning finances together. Although you think you may be right with your views, remember, it’s not only your money that’s affected. Don’t impose on how your partner spends the cash – instead of making her feel trammeled, discuss budgets openly.

Dissect your expenses, don’t be shadowy about splitting the cash for essential funds and merriment moolah, include food, petrol, toll, parking etc. This way, you become more aware of your expenditure.

Never talk down to her, if she’s not financially astute, it only diminishes her share making her uncooperative. Perhaps sounding like a broken record might work, giving her the taste of her womanly medicine, it just might work.

Whatever it is, make sure you speak to her about it, set emotions aside and work out some agreeable budgets and financial plan between yourselves.
