Why Are Men So Insensitive?

If you think us men are insensitive, think again. We are sensitive but we do not express emotions dramatically like women. We subdue them instead. Unfortunately, that makes us emotionally weaker to women, as we do not show it out the outside but its eats us on the inside. We get hurt much faster than women and sometimes are at sea on how to manage the situation. That’s why we end up billowing in self-pity by drowning in sins like boozing.
It’s simply really – we want to temporarily block out what is happening around us, so we drink until we can no longer grasp on reality, absolving us of repressed emotions. But, do not give us sympathy because we despise it. This is an aftermath from society engrafting the “perfect” image on how a man should be. Because of this women label us insensitive.
We do feel the emotions of women but the way we respond to it is by keeping it bottled because that is how society portrays men. The one thing that women can do to help men is by loving them together with their shortcomings and by being patient with them.

It is called the ‘male complex’ and its the same reason why most men like to behave/act chivalrously towards chicks who are in ‘distress’. And the chivalrous hero is ‘suppose’ to be strong all the time too and emotions are thought to be a man’s kryptonite.
That’s my deduction anyway. LOL
Men are not insensitive. They just so happen to have these Superman/Spiderman characteristic. They wear their underpants outside to hide their heart.
“Do not give us sympathy because we despise it”. Well said. I did that one time and made a couple of men cry like baby. Fantastic feeling! LOL
And oh, when men gather together, they’re like Marvel superheroes or something. Nothing can touch them. Nothing can break them. When men leaves home for a night out the guys, they become BOYS.
i have been asking the same questions over n over again…. can’t figure out why..maybe they just hide n cry..but not in front of others like woman do.
like that ka?….well, men should once a while be brave enuf to reveal what’s inside them so that there will be no misunderstanding….:)
I think man is sensitive, just that they are not so into express it out only. Sometimes they are more mature in handling emotion… Sometimes it is good to be ignorant… not so suffering like woman, small small thing also cry until the sky crack.
I would give out the whole world if I can read what’s going on in a man’s mind just for a day….
He is always testing my patience…so far he hasn’t reach to my limits, just yet…*laughs*

i keep reading just love and wait it out…ive waited for 18.5 years…for him to just think before he speaks and think before he does things..if he wouldnt want me to say or do it to him then why do or say to me….thats all you guys need to do and its not that hard to be respectful or just hold us sometimes..that is all we are really wanting…
