Women who earn more than men in a relationship

Do guys like their other half to be earning more than them? I doubt it because we’re chauvinistic too much not to let it affect our behaviour. Our ego gets bruised and would shrink over a period of time that would lead us to being self-destructive.
It also may not help if men tries to learn to accept that their wives earn more than them, only for the wives to use it as an ego bashing tool whenever there’s a fight. If a man’s ego is bruised, they might go all out to prove their manliness through boozing, speeding, fightting, shouting, the works. Animal instinct.
So, I’m opening this question to all my male readers, how would you react if you other half earns more than you? Maybe you can accommodate it in the short run but what about the long run?
I always said that if my better half earns more than me, I’d quit my job and become a gardener. Of course, the thought of a blissful life would probably last a few months tops. Then I might go mental. There’s only so many trees that I can plant. 
Honestly saying, I really dont mind if my better half is earning more than me. By saying that, it always goes back to how good is the relationship between you two. If she never talk about it and dont mind about it either then everything is a-o-k
but mens are very competitive, so for a long run, they always wanted to do better than the girl. its all about power play, who earn the most is able to make those big decision in life…. haha

I suppose I can live with it that my other half earns more. This cannot be avoided in this time and age. When it comes to disagreements, play fair lah…don’t go bashing the ego for the sake of winning. Both will end up as losers.
Guys should just suck it up if the gal earns more than you. There are also such things as house-husbands too. Raise the kids, housework, groceries, cook, wait for bread-earner wife to come home, etc… Hahahaha……!

The guy who sits next to me at work is in that situation, because the wife works with an American company and we in an Asian company (I know this because he always loves to talk about his wife and kids) and he sounds totally cool about it, because the wife settles most of the bills!!
What’s wrong if your wife is earning more than you? Provided she does not mind and don’t use it as an ego bashing tool during a fight, and of course don’t mind sharing her money, there’s actually a lot of benefits derived from this.
First, she can spend her money without constantly asking money from you! No more worries and heart attacks when there are mega sales in town!
Second, if you enjoy playing the house husband role, this is like a marriage made in heaven for you! If you don’t, then too bad lah.
Third, you don’t have enough money to buy that latest gadget? Don’t use credit card, just ask from your wife lah! This is called smart money management!
Four, doesn’t it make a nice change when your wife pay for your dinner in a lavish restaurant? You deserve it!
Five, you can finally get to enjoy the life you’ve always wanted! Quit your job and let your wife do all the hard work of earning money! No more office politics. No more screaming from your boss. You can then just sit back, relax, blog all day, watch Astro, do some gardening. And if your wife is nice enough to employ a maid to do all the household chores, what else do you want to complain about? It’ll be bliss! : )
Of course, if you still feel uncomfortable having a wife who earns more than you, better not get married. Or just marry a man! Haha!
I prefer my man to earn more, boleh minta sikit…haha..jahat kan.
there are still a lot of men out there who couldnt stomach the thought of wife getting the bigger pay…
anyway, there are some who enjoys it and took advantage of it as well

I have no qualms about about my other half earning more than me as long as she’s willing to share it with me … LOL!
I few years back, I agreed with my best friend that we would get some smart chics that would earn the money so that we could bring the kids together with a case of beer to the park and chill out. Did not work out yet, but working hard on it ;-p
Well, I don’t think I would mind. Nothing’s gonna happen even if I do. There’s no use being bitter about it anyway, the least I can do is aim to outdo the wife!

What is the big deal if the wife/gf earn more than the guy? In today’s reality, this seems to be more and more likely oredi. But hor, I dont mind also if my hubby earn more than me! Then can quit my job n be fulltime housewife or work from home.. WAHAHAHAHAHA!
If the man earns less than his woman, there are other abilities that he can put to use.
