Lock Up (1989)
Critics hated it, and it won 3 razzies. But I loved this movie. It’s a typical Stallone movie, way better than “Rambo” – more in the veins of “Over the Top”. There are a few Stallone movies that I enjoy, “Rocky” series, “Lock Up”, “Over the Top”, “Demolition Man” and “Cliffhanger”.
This movie tells about the last 6 months of prison term for inmate Frank Leone (Stallone), and involves a massive conflict between him and the prison warden (Donald Sutherland rocked in this one). The storyline’s not great, but the settings and Stallone vs Sutherland sequences were brilliant.
i really liked this movie too…. hey there was this really old stallone movie about football…. it had all the best international players in it too including pele… i like that one too… hmmm cant remember what its called… must go and look it up…
I have never seen this one. Are there any shower scenes?
Mo Yeah, I remembered that football movie, but was not impressed by it.
Wombat Nope, I think Sly realized it later and made it up with Sharon Stone in The Specialist.
