Poltergeist (1982)
A Steven Spielberg production. I clearly recalled watching this flick when I was very young, and was frightened of televisions after that. LOL.
It’s a story about a haunted house in the suburbia and a little girl named Carol Anne. I remember how the ghosts used to call her name via the static on the TV set. And one day she disappears and you can hear her screams through the set. The spirits then create a path from the TV set to enter the house.

Aiyo! Poltergeist and Exorcist are two of the movies I never wanna see again. I remember knocking my parents door at 3am after watching Polte………VHS.
Not scary la. Exorcist also not scary. lol.
hahaha, old but a nice ghost movie. Watched this when i was a kid as well, nvr dare to go near the TV for a short period of time after that

pucklepickle Yeah, it was freaky.
Sha Errr okay. Exorcist to me is the scariest movie of all time.
yipguseng Same here man.
huei I hardly watch scary shows of late, the quality is simply not there anymore. They rely too much on suspense rather than the ghost itself.
I was scared then BUT I think now, these are child’s play – not when we have Dark Water or Grudge etc!
Jewelle Agreed. I’m sure that 5 years down the road, Dark Water and Grudge will be laughed at too.
