Beach Boys – Dont Worry Baby
It made the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 songs that shaped Rock & Roll. The year, 1964. I first heard this song when I bought Beach Boys’ Greatest Hits back in 1994, and instantly fell in love with it. Believe or not, it was about Brian Wilson’s car. This song appeared in that Drew Barrymore flick, “Never Been Kissed”. See if it rings a bell.

hehehe…… I think I bought my first album of their greatest hits about the same time you did too – cassette tape man!… my dad was SHOCKED i was listening to them… he was always complaning about my taste in music… hehehe…. used to kill him with 2 Unlimited and Warren G and all… he said – ah so you finally saw the light!?

When I saw this entry, I was like jaw-dropped and lol. Cuz’ I’ve been talking about this song for the past few weeks. ahahaha… My colleagues probably got sick of Don’t Worry Baby cuz’ I’ve been playing it over and over again in the office. And I forgot how many times I’ve watched Never Been Kissed…still, the last kissing part never fails to ‘melt’ me

When I listen to songs back in the day, the Beach Boys or even Frank Sinatra, it just hits me how complicated everything has become…music, lifestyle, movies…
