Inner Circle – Games People Play



All the games people play now, every night and every day now, never meaning what they say, never say what they mean! This tune was written in 1968 by a dude named Joe South. It has been covered by a number of artistes, but the most popular cover version probably went to Inner Circle in the mid-90s.

It is actually a protest song, against all forms of hatred, inhumanity and intolerance. The theme of the song is that we are responsible for our own actions or lack of action. We need to mean what we say and say what we mean. How many of us have done that?
