Deep Purple will be returning to Malaysia at the Genting Arena of Stars of 16 May 2010 as part of their 2010 Tour. I know the last time they came down was during an F1 event back in 2001 then Shah Alam stadium in 1999.

The Shirelles – Will You Love Me Tomorrow (1960)

This is one of the most covered songs, and it was the signature track of The Shirelles, who other hits include “Soldier Boy”, but this is by far their best track. It is a must have if you like collecting oldies.

It was a spur of the moment, less than 2 weeks before Mel & I visited KK, I decided to organize a gathering, especially for Sabahan bloggers who are now I call friends, and also roped in some fresh faces too to add a little spice to the evening. I did not make it an [...]

Michael Bolton featuring Tami Chynn – Can You Feel Me (Song Review)

Strangely, this is a pleasant song by Michael Bolton, and with Tami Chynn on board, it becomes very vivified to the current music world. I know many have a love-hate relationship with Michael Bolton, though I have a feeling that the haters are just too shy to admit that they’re fans of him. For me, [...]

Wayne Jackson – Hallelujah (Song Review)

Wayne Jackson – Hallelujah (Song Review)

I love the chorus, and it is Wayne Jackson’s best song from his latest album, by a freaking mile! This is an English dude living in Germany and by the looks of things, has not really broken through any charts worldwide. Despite the billet-doux chorus, he will find it tough, especially in a world of [...]

Fair – Take Some Risks (Song Review)

I love the chorus as its haunting delivery perfectly captures the song, though I felt that the band should’ve thought a better song name instead something as bland as “Take Some Risks”, maybe “Everyone” or “Surrounding Me”. Whatever it is, I think this song is pretty good.

I think most of us who appreciate good music would’ve been exposed to the falsetto voices of the Bee Gees. I’m sure each of us have our own favorites. My favorite is “More Than a Woman”. Here’s a list of the best tracks from the Bee Gees for your listening pleasure.

My Valentine’s Day Thoughts

My Valentine’s Day Thoughts

As much as many of us do not believe in Valentine’s day because of the commercial greed that revolves around it, still I think we should not totally set aside the day itself. It doesn’t have to take place at some fancy joints with you shelling out money through your nose where on normal days, [...]

AJ Mclean – Have it All (Album Review)

I never really rated AJ, because I just find he seems to be annoyingly cocky, that thorn among the Backstreet Boys. I always thought he doesn’t contribute much, but after hearing to his debut album, it looks like I’m proven wrong.
The song that stands out like there’s no tomorrow, is “Teenage Wildlife”, though its tone [...]
