Bone Thugs-n-Harmony – I’m Gone (Song Review)

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony – I’m Gone (Song Review)

Posted by Gallivanter in Music Reviews on 13. Mar, 2010 | 0 Comments

The chorus sounds like it’s been recycled from some other tunes. Bone Thugs are back with a new song, and if you can ignore the comparable melody, then I think you might just grow to like it. I’m not so sure about this track due to its lack of uniqueness, but crumby radio stations might [...]

JLS – Mary (Song Review)

It sounds like a “slow” version of that Vengaboys song, I forgot the title of it. See if you can catch the same tone, especially in the chorus. Also, see if you can hear a little of “Come on Eileen” in there too. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty decent song by this boyband called JLS.

AJ Mclean – Have it All (Album Review)

I never really rated AJ, because I just find he seems to be annoyingly cocky, that thorn among the Backstreet Boys. I always thought he doesn’t contribute much, but after hearing to his debut album, it looks like I’m proven wrong.
The song that stands out like there’s no tomorrow, is “Teenage Wildlife”, though its tone [...]

Enrique Iglesias – It Must Be Love (Song Review)

Enrique Iglesias – It Must Be Love (Song Review)

Enrique has this annoying style of delivering his songs in an over-dramatic fashion. That dude’s a walking melodrama! I’m not particularly a huge fan of him. This is his next song and it sounds acceptable but it doesn’t have any staying power whatsoever, perfect for our lame radio stations to gobble it up fairly quickly.

Timbaland Presents Shock Value 2 (Album Review)

I always rated Timbaland as a top producer who just simply can’t do no wrong. I put him on a pedestal, only for him to release a lackluster album that sounds like a collection of demo tracks, clearly nowhere near his best. What a bloody disappointment coming from a dude who has his fair share of contribution [...]

Bon Jovi – Two Story Town (Crush 2000)

This Bon Jovi song has similarities with Joan Osborne’s One of Us when Jon takes on the verses. Nevertheless, it is a catchy track. It speaks of going around in a merry-go-round, about being stuck in a rut that you can’t get out off.
Nothing changes, when you turn on the TV, same shit different day. [...]

The Hair on My Chest

Some have carpets, some are smooth like a baby’s bottom, and some are in between. With media playing a major role, hairy men these days are a boo boo as women seem to prefer bare chested men.
Of course, when you’re incredibly hairy, it is a turn off, even for that man himself. I have to [...]

Hinder – Thing for You (Take it to the Limit)

This is a final track that I will share with you, off Hinder’s new album. “Use Me”, “Without You“, “Heaven Sent” and “Last Kiss Goodbye” were the previous entries. I’m sure from that bouquet of songs, you will have a favorite tune. As for me, I can’t decide on a favorite. Good tracks, all of [...]

Hinder – Without You (Take it to the Limit)

This is classic! A classic rock ballad. I love Hinder, and this is a song that perfectly flaunts the lead’s singer’s prowess. Though parts of the chorus sometime sounds like some other tune. Nevertheless it’s a magnificent tune. It may not come close to “Lips of an Angel” in terms of individualism, but take nothing away from it.
Highly recommended to [...]

The Killers – Human (Day & Age) and Oasis Album Review

“Human” is The Killer’s next single, taken off their latest album, “Day & Age”. It sounds a little like Pet Shop Boys meet New Order. I was taken aback when the beat came a buzzing, but after a while, thought it was OK. Still, it’s nowhere near to their previous efforts, with songs like “For [...]
